"Finance jargon and money management have always made my head spin! AccessLex Institute’s MAX Financial Foundations course presented complex topics in a way that was easy to understand and learn. It assuaged a lot of the anxiety I had coming into law school about how to manage the debt I was accruing. For the first time ever, I feel financially literate and able to manage a budget and my debt. MAX’s 1L course section in planning a budget for summer has been especially invaluable, and because of the information I learned I was able to save enough to comfortably finance a productive first summer in law school! I would recommend that every law student, especially those entering their 2L or 3L years, take advantage of the wonderful resources offered. Outside of MAX, the AccessLex Law School Scholarship Databank and Diversity Pathway Program Directory are invaluable for students both actively in law school or considering a career in the legal profession."

"MAX by AccessLex® has been an incredible resource that has resulted in me being more educated on the financial options and responsibilities during and after law school. As a non-traditional student, I have had experience including owning and selling four homes that had mortgages and I still learned so much. For example, I learned about bar loans, and that information helped me determine how I would prepare for when I am out of school but studying for the bar. Invaluable is how I describe the resources found on MAX by AccessLex®."
