Pathway to the Law

You will participate in a four-course 10 credit sequence of online courses as part of your undergraduate degree program. This sequence includes:
Introduction to the Legal Profession, in which you will learn how law is created, how to study the law, and how to apply it;
Legal Writing Skills, will provide instruction in the basics of written legal communication and legal research;
Critical Thinking and Comprehension Skills, will teach you how to perform the key legal skills of logical analysis, reasoning and problem solving; and
Advanced Critical Thinking and Comprehension Skills, will further develop these skills, with a special focus on the subjects covered in the first year of law school.
You will work with a mentor from the legal community or law school community.
You will meet with law school recruiters and professors and be invited to law school activities.
You will receive assistance preparing for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
You will receive assistance preparing a successful law school application.
You will receive up to $2,000 in book awards over the course of the program.
