Fordham Pre-Law Institute
The Fordham Law Pre-Law Institute is a summer course designed to give undergraduate students and graduates insight into the law school experience and an introduction to foundational subjects in U.S. law. Classes are taught in the mornings, New York time. Classes in this program are taught by members of the fulltime and adjunct faculty of Fordham Law School, who introduce the Socratic method of teaching common in legal education. The program also includes a virtual visit to a law firm, and panel discussions with legal practitioners on public interest lawyering and law firm practice. In addition, optional sessions prepare students for the law school admissions process and the first year of law school.
