This scholarship is for Michigan law school students demonstrating an interest in practicing in the area of child protective proceedings and/or juvenile justice. The Scholarship Fund has been named in honor and remembrance of John (Jack) H. McKaig, II, a long-standing, instrumental member of the Children's Law Section.

Eligibility Requirements:

2L or 3L student enrolled in good standing in any Michigan accredited law school

Minimum GPA 2.8

Demonstrated interest in Child Welfare Law
