Examine academic success, in-school bar exam success, and post-graduate bar exam success interventions.
As the body of research on student-level predictors of bar exam passage continues to grow, and as law schools continue to experiment with and evaluate various programmatic and curricular interventions to improve academic and bar success, the need for a regular synthesis of learnings from these studies is greater than ever.
AccessLex has summarized findings from recent law school academic and bar success program interventions and experiments, including those funded through the AccessLex Institute Bar Success Research Grant and Bar Success Intervention Grant programs, as well as research collected on the AccessLex Resource Collections (ARC).
This literature review is intended to assist researchers in understanding the existing literature in the field, and to support academic success and bar preparation professionals in decisions about their programs and interventions.
