Bar Exam Stipend - Summer Bar Exam

Northwest Indian Bar Association (NIBA)

NIBA seeks to increase the membership and participation of Native attorneys in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The purpose of the NIBA bar stipend is to aid graduating Native law students, who are committed to advancing the goals and visions of Native communities and people through legal representation and advocacy, with bar exam preparation for either of the Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington State bar exams.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must be set to graduate or have graduated from an accredited law school

Registered for the winter or summer Alaska, Idaho, Oregon or Washington State Bar exams

Intend to work in the field of American Indian law or policy in the Northwest

Stipend depends on available funds
