The Illinois Judges Foundation awards the Harold Sullivan Scholarship to one or more students attending an Illinois law school.
Some application deadlines have not yet been announced. In those cases, the dates posted are based on the scholarship provider’s most recent information. Please confirm each deadline via the provider’s website.
Does not have a close relative who is a judge.
Currently enrolled in an Illinois law school, with at least one academic year of law school remaining (incoming 1Ls not eligible).
Demonstrates community service or pro bono experience.
Demonstrates financial need.
The Illinois Judges Foundation will award at least one $5,000 scholarship, and may award runner-up scholarship(s) for $2,500. The scholarship monies are paid by the IJF to the winning students’ law school(s) to cover future tuition and related costs.
Must attend a law school in Illinois.
