The HBA-NJ is committed to the advancement and progress of Hispanic-Americans in the legal profession. In furtherance of that effort, the HBA-NJ awards scholarships each year to eligible law students so they may continue their legal studies at Rutgers Law School-Newark, Seton Hall University Law School and Rutgers Law School-Camden and other area law schools.
Some application deadlines have not yet been announced. In those cases, the dates posted are based on the scholarship provider’s most recent information. Please confirm each deadline via the provider’s website.
Enrolled and attending an ABA approved law school in the U.S.
Law students
Hispanic Americans (at least one parent must be of Hispanic descent)
Are or have been residents of the State of New Jersey
