JAG Corp US Navy (Ret.) Legal Education Scholarship
J.L. Turner Legal Association Foundation
This foundation scholarship is geared to law students who reside in, or attend a law school in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In addition to the residency requirement, this is also a merit and need based scholarship. However, disadvantaged circumstance will be taken into consideration.

2L or 3L minority law student currently enrolled in an ABA accredited law school in the U.S., in good academic standing and demonstrates financial need
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
Currently serves or was honorably discharged from a branch of the U.S. military (valid DD214) OR is the child of a U.S. military veteran (valid DD214) OR is a current member of, or has been accepted and plans to enter, the U.S. JAG Corp.
Be one of the following: from the DFW Metroplex OR attend law school in the DFW Metroplex OR an African-American male or female law student that is from (born in or raised in) the state of Texas
Amount varies annually.
