This association scholarship is open to Black students who have overcome adversity to use their outstanding academic ability and skills in public service. Financial need is not a requirement. Interview is required and two letters of recommendation.

Eligibility Requirements:

Enrolled and in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school at the time of nomination

Demonstrate exceptional compassion and commitment to public service

Exhibit strong academic achievement

Demonstrate a commitment to practicing law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts 

Be a MBLA member
