The purpose of this scholarship is to promote diversity in the profession. The contest is open to all Black, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students accepted to or enrolled in law school.

Must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups: Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, or Pacific Islander.
Must be currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited law school in the U.S.
