This scholarship is for descendants of the enslaved in Georgia who are attending or about to attend law school.

Eligibility Requirements:

Enrolled in or accepted into an accredited U.S. Law School

African American student with a family connection to enslavement in Georgia (who identify as descendants of the enslaved in Georgia) and be willing to articulate the connection

Award Description:

Ten or more scholarships will be awarded for up to $30,000 each according to need and timeline of schooling. Student must submit a short video telling why they are passionate about the law.
