Pertti Lindfors, a Finnish-American attorney in San Francisco, established this scholarship to encourage cross-cultural study and understanding by law students in Finland and the U.S.

American students who have completed at least one year of studies at a law school in the U.S. and who are currently enrolled or accepted to the law faculty of a Finnish university within the U.S. (or applied to and are awaiting acceptance)
OR Finnish Citizens who have completed at least one year of studies at a law faculty in Finland or in the EU and who are currently enrolled or accepted to an ABA law school within the U.S. (or applied to and are awaiting acceptance)
Scholarship awards range from $1,000-$3,000.
