This scholarship will be awarded to a current law student to assist with tuition expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:

Enrolled in an ABA accredited law school in the U.S.

Member of Black Law Students Association (BLSA) or the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association.

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Award Description:

Scholarship recipients agree to serve as fellows supporting the mission of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Foundation and the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association. Fellowship activities may be completed in person or remotely. Recipients of scholarships totaling at least $5,000 agree to serve in a one-year fellowship. Recipients of scholarships totaling at least $1,000 agree to serve a four-month fellowship.

Preference will be given to Miami-Dade residents or students attending law school in Miami-Dade County
