The purpose of this scholarship is to promote diversity in the profession. The contest is open to all Black, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students accepted to or enrolled in law school. 

OMLA is a proud sponsor of the Bar Exam Grant. They are available for both the February and July bar exams each year.

OCWLA Foundation awards a Diversity Stipend to a recent law school graduate with a minority ethnic background and achievements and contributions in scholarship, community service, advancement of diversity or diversity issues. Financial need and connection to Orange County are also considered.

This award will recognize the potential of a socio-economic challenged student who has a vision of giving back to their community.

The Kilroy Law Firm Justice Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students. This scholarship will be awarded to a law school student.

Vorys Diversity & Inclusion Committee has established scholarships for diverse law students whose spirit, drive and commitment leads them to pursue a career at Vorys while also demonstrating leadership and being “difference makers” in their communities and/or schools.

The Equity and Inclusion Scholarship funds tuition scholarships for law students who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latino/a, Asian American, Pacific Islander, or other person of color who demonstrates an interest in working in an area of natural resources and energy law. 

The Trans/Nonbinary Law Graduates of Color Grant Fund will award three unrestricted to help offset the costs associated with the period of time between graduation and taking the Bar Exam/employment. 

This scholarship will assist students from Allen County, Indiana, or those who intend to work there, from underrepresented racial or ethnic groups, enter or continue law school and prepare to join the legal profession. Applicants must be planning to take the LSAT and apply to law school, preparing to enter law school, or enrolled in law school.

For African American/Black law students or other historically marginalized racial or ethnic groups such as, but not limited to, Native American/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian and Pacific Islander, who are long-time Virginia residents enrolled in a juris doctor program. Preference shall be given to first-year law students, students attending a law school in Virginia, and/or students from Hampton Roads.
