Pursuing a graduate degree (Master’s, PhD, or Law School) in water law, water policy or public administration with a demonstrated concentration in the field of water resources

Commit to full-time enrollment (8 semester units or 10 quarter units) for the entire academic year

Secured a volunteer internship position with one non-profit organization in Massachusetts

Preference given to permanent/future residents of Massachusetts

Demonstrated commitment to public interest law

1L attending an ABA-accredited law school

Jewish students who are planning to enroll or already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university

Preference will be given to someone enrolled in a professional school such as a law school, business, or library/information science

Preference will also be given to a student who is an immigrant

Enrolled at an accredited university in the U.S.

U.S. Citizen or legal Permanent Residents of the U.S.

Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA

Current 1L or 2L Law student

Female

Enrolled at one of the four Missouri law schools (Washington University, Saint Louis University, the University of Missouri in Columbia or the University of Missouri-Kansas City) or Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale

Commitment to community service

Current student veteran, Navy or Navy Reserve, in good standing with honorable discharge

Enrolled full time in a graduate program for the current academic year, or entering sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university in the U.S.

Demonstrate a commitment to and passion for their chosen field of study

Demonstrate leadership and engagement in their community

2L or 3L student

Must be full time

Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution in the fall of the year of application (one scholarship may be given to a person employed full-time while attending school part-time)

Must be legally blind in both eyes. Must be residing in the U.S., the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico

Must participate in the entire NFB National Convention and in all of its scheduled scholarship program activities (finalists will receive assistance to attend the national convention).
