The goal of this scholarship is part of the firm's efforts to increase diversity as well as increase diversity in the legal profession.

This scholarship is a one-time award to a second-year law student attending an Illinois Law School. It is named for the Hon. William Stewart Boyd, who has spent more than two decades as an Associate Judge for the Cook County Circuit Court, and who has agreed to mentor the scholarship winners.

This foundation scholarship is directed at diverse and deserving law students. Participation and leadership in supporting diversity-related programs as well as merit and financial need will be considered.

Scholarship is awarded to a law student who has demonstrated their leadership skills and used those skills to help achieve diversity inclusion within the legal community.

This scholarship will be awarded to a law student who is interested in pursuing a career in public service or a student who is actively involved with a not-for-profit agency that represents the needy and the underprivileged.

Must be a qualified 1L student at an ABA-accredited law school and must possess a diverse background, a technical degree in science or engineering, and a commitment to pursuing a patent law career in Chicago to apply for this summer associates program.
