This annual award will be given to a student interested in any aspect of social or civil justice and is paid directly to the student's college or university.

This scholarship will be awarded to a current or incoming student interested in civil service, federal employment law, or becoming a federal employment attorney.

The Dallas law firm is offering The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship. Our award is available to current and aspiring law school students who appreciate the importance of civil rights in the workforce.

This scholarship is intended for students who are passionate about improving workers’ rights and civil rights, spreading knowledge about employment law, and making a positive impact on workers across the country. 

This scholarship supports undergraduates and graduates dedicated to uplifting underserved communities. It can be used for essential educational expenses like tuition, textbooks, and course materials, helping students focus on their studies without financial stress.

The MMSP will support and develop the next wave of civil rights lawyers in the South, where the majority of Black Americans live. Over the next five years, we will invest in the establishment of a corps of 50 civil rights attorneys equipped and prepared to advocate on behalf of Black communities in the South seeking racial justice and equity.

Scholarships are awarded to applicants whose leadership potential is evident and will demonstrate their dedication to excellence in their lives through service, education, or employment, and for bringing broad positive impacts to society as an out and visible LGBTQ person becoming a positive role model for other LGBTQ people.

The scholarship will be awarded to one current second, third or fourth-year law student to defray the costs associated with law school, such as tuition, fees, books, and similar school-related expenses.

The fellowship competition is open to first-year law students who intend to carry out significant activities during the summer in the areas of civil rights and/or civil liberties. Proposed activities may include a writing or research project, work with a public interest organization in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties, work on a civil rights or civil liberties law case under the supervision of a faculty member or lawyer, or any other work in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties.
