Demonstrated outstanding leadership

Serve the APA community

Must be enrolled fill-time, or intending to enroll full-time, at an accredited college or university based in the U.S.

Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community

Admitted to a Law School

Either from Orange County, CA (OC high school or community college graduates) OR for non-OC Latino students who are attending an OC Law School

Participated in college pre-law programs or clubs as well as worked or volunteered in a local Law Firm or public service agency and/or the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association.

Undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree

Veteran and active duty service members from all branches of the military including National Guard and Reserves who have served in pre- and post-9/11 service areas

Current spouses of veteran or active duty service members, including surviving spouses

Spouses, veterans and service members who apply must be a full-time student pursuing specific degrees at a public or private, U.S.-based, accredited institution (see website for more details)

College (junior or senior) or graduate students enrolled full-time or part- time at an accredited university or college

Woman and U.S. Citizen

Demonstrate interest in pursuing a career related to national security or defense

Minimum GPA 3.25

Demonstrate financial need

Current resident of the following counties of Southeastern Michigan: Wayne, Oakland or Macomb

Pursuing Post-Secondary Education at the Columbus College of Law at Catholic University of America, any campus of the University of Michigan or any campus of Wayne State University

Single parent mothers

Law student

Currently enrolled at an accredited Illinois law school

Residents of Cook, Lake, DuPage, or McHenry counties

Commitment to the highest scholastic standards

Admitted to an ABA accredited law school

Resident of New Jersey
