Scholarship is for full-time second year law students at ABA-accredited law schools who are selected as Sidley summer associates. Scholarship recipients will be selected from among the eligible applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities and who also have demonstrated exceptional ability.

Full-time 2L law student at an ABA- accredited law school
Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities
Demonstrated exceptional ability, including through areas such as contributions to diversity initiatives or to diversity and inclusion more generally, or ability to overcome adversity, or other extraordinary contributions or accomplishments
Scholarship recipient must be willing to complete a summer associate program at one of the law office locations: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Greater LA, Miami, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Washington DC
