This scholarship recognizes the ambition and resilience it takes to be the first in a family to pursue higher education, it celebrates the journey and provides a financial award that can ease the tremendous burden of paying for college.

This scholarship was created to recognize the effort and dedication of first-generation law and pre-law students.

The award is given to an immigrant or first-generation Hispanic pre-law or law student to be used toward tuition, room and board, or other educational expenses.

This scholarship hopes to alleviate some of the stress and difficulty of this journey for first-generation students by offering financial assistance. It is hoped that these funds will make higher education more attainable for those who are embarking on this journey. 

The Annual WLAC/Rhoda and Judge Stuart Hing Scholarship seeks to support a diverse returning law student with a demonstrated commitment to advocating on behalf of women, with leadership potential, who is engaged in the Alameda County legal community, and is able to attend the annual Judges' Reception to receive the scholarship. 

This First Generation Law Student Scholarship seeks to support, recognize, and reward excellence within the First Generation Law Student community.

Sponsors are looking for applicants who are first generation immigrants or the child of a first generation immigrant. The scholarship aims to empower and celebrate the individuality of immigrant communities.

The public education system could learn a great deal from the students that it serves. Connecticut Trial Firm would like to hear the next generations’ ideas on how to improve America’s public education system so that more students have access to higher education institutions.

The aim of this scholarship is to provide support to law school students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education and a legal career.

Provides opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished Latinos to achieve excellence and become leaders in the legal field.

This scholarship will be awarded to eligible, diverse law students and those who demonstrate a genuine commitment to DEI and social justice in their communities, or within their academic career, and demonstrate financial need to achieve their academic and professional dreams.

This $5,000 scholarship is available for law students who are the first in their families to pursue a legal career and who have demonstrated outstanding academic success in the face of challenging cultural, social, and economic circumstances.
