• University of California at Davis, School of Law (Davis, CA)
• The University of California College of the Law, fka Hastings College of the Law (San Francisco, CA)
• University of Wisconsin Law School (Madison, WI)

Identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or otherwise self-identify as a part of the queer community

Demonstrated interest and intent to practice in the plaintiff’s bar

Other criteria that will be considered include financial need, academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities, and life experiences

Matriculated in a degree program at an accredited college, graduate, or professional school anywhere, or schools within the Philadelphia region

Gay man

Successful applicants graduated from a high school in the Philadelphia region (Bucks, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) and are enrolled at an accredited college, graduate, or professional school in the United States; OR
graduated from a high school outside the region and are enrolled at an accredited college, graduate, or professional school in the Philadelphia region.

Must be enrolled fill-time, or intending to enroll full-time, at an accredited college or university based in the U.S.

Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community

Planning to pursue or currently pursuing a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution in the U.S.

Have a high school diploma or GED

Identify as Transgender or Non-Binary

U.S. Citizen

Student at any of the following schools who have completed their first year of law school and is currently enrolled for their second, third, or fourth year of law school.

• UC College of the Law, San Francisco
• University of San Francisco School of Law
• Santa Clara University School of Law
• University of California – Berkeley School of Law
• Stanford Law School
• Golden Gate University School of Law

Must be pursuing post-secondary education (individuals planning to enroll in a program next year are eligible as are current high school seniors)

Northwest Residency: Applicants must be a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington

Currently enrolled in an ABA accredited law school 

Students pursuing any degree-granting program or certificate

Demonstrated involvement with the API Queer and Trans community

Future planned involvement in the API Queer and Trans community

Become a student member of APABA Silicon Valley

May not be offered this year-verify status with the scholarship provider

2.5 or higher overall GPA

Accepted into specific Northern California Universities

Student who will graduate from a U.S. Law School in the same year as the deadline

Law student or recent law graduate who attend(ed) an ABA Accredited Law School

Secured a summer internship or job with a public interest organization with a direct impact on LGBTQ+
