U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Member of a historically underrepresented group in the legal profession, including, law students who are members of racial and/or ethnic minority groups, are differently abled, or are from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds

Outstanding undergraduate and law school academic achievement.  Demonstrate leadership qualities and active involvement in the community

Currently enrolled 2L or 3L at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S. as a part-time or full-time student with good academic standing

Female, minority law student from the DFW Metroplex or attending law school in the DFW Metroplex

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Completion of first year of law school.

Attend a Northern California Law School and intend to continue commitments to Contra Costa County after graduation.

Current membership in California Women Lawyers

Demonstrate a commitment to issues affecting women and/or children in the community

Be in the top fifty percent of their law school class currently
