Since 2009, ISF has funded American Muslim scholars studying and working in fields with the greatest impact on public opinion and policy, including law, legal studies, and human rights. Law scholarships range from $5,000-10,000. Our goal: to improve negative portrayals of Muslims in the news, increase the number of Muslim policymakers, and invest in the creation of positive and engaging stories about American Muslims.

The Samuel J. Goldstein, Esquire, Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to benefit students from Allegheny County and contiguous counties who are planning to attend or already attend law school in Pennsylvania.

The NYIPLEF’s Annual Diversity Scholarship was established to promote diversity in IP law. The award is intended to be used by the law student for tuition and expenses related to attending law school.

This state bar association scholarship is awarded to female New Jersey resident students attending one of New Jersey’s three law schools or to a female New Jersey resident attending Columbia Law school. In addition to resident requirement, merit and financial need will be taken into consideration.

The Rachel Krevans Scholarship was established to encourage women to pursue careers in intellectual property law.

The Board Scholarship seeks to encourage law students showing financial need and demonstrating both academic excellence and outstanding leadership.

An award will be given in the memory of Giles S. Rich, Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and an author of the 1952 Patent Act. Ideal candidates will show financial need and reflect academic excellence. They also should consistently demonstrate a dedication to the law, the rule of law, and our court system.

An award will be given in the memory of Helen W. Nies, former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Special considerations include encouraging the participation of women lawyers in the legal profession, recognizing the contributions of women lawyers to society in general, highlighting academic excellence, addressing need, and advancing the interest of women law students in intellectual property.

This memorial scholarship award is geared toward students pursuing a J.D. with an interest in international law or federal law. In particular, a demonstrable interest in procedure, substance, or scope of the United States Four of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is ideal.

Each year, LAAC offers the Dan Bradley Fellowship to fund law students who want to spend their summer working at a LAAC member legal aid organization. The Fellowship is awarded to outstanding students who want to pursue a career in public interest law and who want to spend their summer working in a rural area or on a rural issue.

The Trial LawHER Scholarship was created to help a rising 3L female law student achieve her goal of becoming a plaintiff trial lawyer. This scholarship intends to elevate a rising woman leader in the plaintiff trial lawyer space and educate future trial lawyers around the importance and impact of settlement planning.

Scholarship intended for law students currently enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. law school, with demonstrated commitment to advancing Latino civil rights in their careers.
