Legal U.S. Residents (or lawful permanent residents) currently residing in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico

Pursuing a full-time graduate program of 2 years or longer at a university in the U.S.

Pursuing one of the following degrees: MD, MBA, JD, MPP/MPA, MPH, MS/MA in the social science or STEM

First-year graduate student for the academic year following the scholarship deadline

Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5    

U.S. citizen or DACA recipient   

Enrolled in an accredited graduate institution in North America

Strong academic qualifications and/or career goals focused on making a significant positive difference in the long-term protection of wilderness in the U.S.

Graduate students in natural resources management, law or policy programs are strongly encouraged to apply

Enrolled in or accepted into an accredited U.S. Law School

African American student with a family connection to enslavement in Georgia (who identify as descendants of the enslaved in Georgia) and be willing to articulate the connection

Rising 2L Law student

A student of color, LGBT, a person with a disability or whose background or experience would otherwise contribute to the diversity of Vedder Price and the legal profession
