This association scholarship is geared toward a current law student who is a Federal Bar Association Law Student Associate Member in good standing. Academic achievement will be considered.

This scholarship strives to recognize young legal professionals dedicated to academic excellence and community service.

The Roxanne Barton Conlin Scholarship recognizes excellence in academics, community service and activities that advance women. The intent of the scholarship is to provide an educational supplement for a female law student who has distinguished herself through academics, community service and/or involvement in activities promoting women.

OMLA is a proud sponsor of the Bar Exam Grant. They are available for both the February and July bar exams each year.

The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowships cover tuition and some living expenses for graduate students attending specific institution of higher education within the U.S. with demonstrated financial need. The Selection Committee has a strong preference for supporting scholarly endeavors.

The Paying It Forward – How My Degree Will Make a Difference Scholarship will be paid to students at the start of the 2024/2025 academic year. This scholarship should encourage students who might not otherwise pursue an academic degree to both chase their dreams and use their new skill sets to aid others in need.

Offered twice a year, the award is given to the student(s) that best exemplifies the mission of OCWLA, and a commitment to scholarship, community service, advancement of women or women’s issues, financial need, and to Orange County.

OCWLA Foundation awards a Diversity Stipend to a recent law school graduate with a minority ethnic background and achievements and contributions in scholarship, community service, advancement of diversity or diversity issues. Financial need and connection to Orange County are also considered.

Financial aid need in addition to attending a Houston law school is required. 1Ls will not be considered. A total of 9 scholarships will be awarded; 3 scholarships to each of the 3 Houston area law schools.

Through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival–or DACA undocumented students may be able to pursue a higher education in the United States. This scholarship hopes to make the dream of pursuing a college education more attainable for these students.
