Open to all college applicants planning to study medicine, public health, toxicology, or another related field

The VABANC scholarships are intended to assist recipients who are in pursuit of public interest or social justice goals and have demonstrated a commitment to serving the Vietnamese-American community in Northern California.

This scholarship will be awarded to a law student who is pursuing a summer internship, externship or clerkship in public interest. This includes a position at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, government agency, or a judicial clerkship. Please note, students who will be working remotely for their public interest position are still eligible to apply. Applicants must have a connection to Northern California (via, employment, law school, or substantial prior residency).

In partnership with IABA National and IABA NorCal, the Judge Iravani-Sani Public Interest Scholarship will support a law student who is pursuing public service law. Candidates from across the country are eligible to apply. IABA would like to thank Judge Iravani-Sani for her generous contribution and for being a role model to Iranian-American law students.

This scholarship supports undergraduates and graduates dedicated to uplifting underserved communities. It can be used for essential educational expenses like tuition, textbooks, and course materials, helping students focus on their studies without financial stress.

This association scholarship is geared toward a current law student who is a Federal Bar Association Law Student Associate Member in good standing. Academic achievement will be considered.

Two annual scholarships award to assist in paying for tuition and/or other education-related expenses. Applicants should have an interest in public service and the practice of law.

This Scholarship will benefit a law student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and demonstrates an interest in AAPI civic issues. Special consideration will also be given to applicants who have been adversely affected by cancer (as a survivor, or family member of a victim or survivor).

The Judge Albert W. Thompson, Sr. Scholarship is offered for up to two students with high character, a commitment to community service, a connection to Georgia who are entering or are currently enrolled in law school. Students committed to practicing nonprofit law or another type of public service law are encouraged to apply. 

The Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec Public Service Scholarship supports college students who are pursuing a career in public service and are passionate about helping others.
