The KJ Williams Scholarship is named after a model law clerk. Anyone entering the legal profession should aspire to be like KJ Williams. KJ was an exemplary law student who participated in a number of student organizations at the Charleston School of Law. He later became a diligent law clerk at the David Aylor Law Offices, who was held in high esteem by everyone who worked with him. KJ tragically lost a hard fought battle with Leukemia, but his memory will live on through this scholarship.

Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship

The Hatton W. Sumners scholarships at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law provide full tuition and fees, a book allowance, and a living allowance. This three-year scholarship requires, among other things, that the recipients rank in the top one-third of their class on an annual basis. Four to six new Scholars are selected at each law school each year.
