This scholarship if for students at Bay Area law schools whose upcoming summer work at a non-profit, government, or academic organization will include a focus on issues related to the Jewish community. 

This scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school students who have been actively involved in their community within California and New York State.

The goal of this scholarship is part of the firm's efforts to increase diversity as well as increase diversity in the legal profession.

This scholarship includes a paid summer associate position with Knobbe Martens during the summer of 2025, as well as a scholarship grant up to $25,000.

This scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving law student (or students) who demonstrate leadership potential, academic success, and a commitment to women’s issues, and show that they live in, intend to practice in, or a connection to Contra Costa County.

This scholarship was founded to honor CWL Past President Nancy O’Malley for her dedication and commitment to promoting California Women Lawyers and protecting all women and children in our society.

This scholarship will be awarded to a California law student of Hispanic background, who excels in community service and academics.

OCWLA Foundation is pleased to provide the Bar Stipend Award to worthy law students about to take the bar exam. Offered twice a year, the award is given to the student(s) that best exemplifies the mission of OCWLA, and a commitment to scholarship, community service, advancement of women or women’s issues, financial need, and to Orange County.

OCWLA Foundation awards a Diversity Stipend to a recent law school graduate with a minority ethnic background and achievements and contributions in scholarship, community service, advancement of diversity or diversity issues. Financial need and connection to Orange County are also considered.

The scholarship aims to get students thinking about children’s health on a national scale. 

These 1L Diversity Scholarship recipients will receive a paid position in the Summer Associate Program in one of four offices and a scholarship for 2nd year tuition and expenses.

This scholarship is for member of historically underrepresented groups in the legal profession, as well as people identifying as a person with disabilities, openly LGBTQ, or military veterans in order to foster the advancement of diversity in the legal profession.

This award was designed to urge young lawyers to cultivate their cultural literacy and pay close attention to events unfolding on the world stage as well as promote diversity for first year law students.

This scholarship was established to attract outstanding diverse law students committed to promoting diversity to the legal community at large.

A 1L law student will be selected for an internship and must demonstrate an awareness of the importance of promoting diversity as a result of their life experiences, demonstrated interests, background, personal attributes or characteristics.

This foundation bar study award is dedicated to providing financial assistance to students of Latino heritage who intend to pursue careers in the law.

Financial assistance to men and women of Chicano and Latino heritage who intend to pursue careers in the law and are law students attending ABA-accredited law schools in Los Angeles County, including Loyola, Pepperdine, Southwestern, UCLA, and USC, or UC Irvine School of Law in Orange County

This foundation scholarship is geared toward deserving law students including recent law school graduates with a commitment to community service. Financial need, adversity, merit and desire to practice in Southern California will be taken into consideration.

The bar stipend is awarded to law students in their final year of study to assist with bar examination related expenses. In awarding bar stipends, the Fund will consider the applicant’s financial need, academic achievement, community service, leadership experience and any hardship experienced in pursuing an education.

We offer these scholarships because we recognize and are firmly committed to the importance of diversity within legal practice, particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area. The scholarships are need-based and are given to students from underrepresented minorities at five Northern California ABA-accredited law schools. In addition to scholarships, we provide mentoring and guidance to recipients.

This scholarship supports those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, or queer/questioning, and to straight allies who have directly supported LGBTQI youth and/or the LGBTQI community.
