This foundation scholarship is geared to students interested in the pursuit of law, and who reside in or around Roanoke county. In addition to the residency requirement, this scholarship also contains a merit component.

Since 2009, ISF has funded American Muslim scholars studying and working in fields with the greatest impact on public opinion and policy, including law, legal studies, and human rights. The SCWLF awards $5,000 scholarships to African-American female law students who have committed to careers as prosecutors. For these future prosecutors the Scholarship program covers the cost of the bar application and preparation up to $5,000. The Scholarship program also offers a $5,000 incentive for scholarship recipients who secure employment as prosecutors.
