Our research serves our mission to improve access, affordability, and value in legal education.
Through the AccessLex Center for Legal Education Excellence®, we are committed to understanding the barriers that impede access to law school for historically underrepresented groups and improving access to law school for all; identifying actionable strategies and public policies to increase law school affordability; and strengthening the value of legal education.
The report, a collaborative effort by the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and AccessLex Institute, offers new insights regarding young lawyers’ experiences with the COVID-19 student loan repayment pause, their plans in the event of loan forgiveness, their satisfaction with loan servicers, and their mindsets regarding work-life balance.
