Goodwin Procter 1L Diversity Fellowship

The Goodwin 1L Diversity Fellowships provide first-year law students from underrepresented backgrounds with awards to help cover expenses while working in a public interest law position during the summer after their first year of law school

Eligibility Requirements:

1L enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school

Exceptional academic performance

Member of a diverse population that historically has been underrepresented in the legal profession

Outstanding leadership abilities and involvement in diversity organizations

A commitment to community service

Award Description:

1L Diversity Fellows will get paid a weekly summer associate salary for 10 weeks and do not receive additional awards during their 1L summer. At the end of their summer, 1L Diversity Fellows will be considered for a 2L summer associate position at Goodwin, compensated at the standard summer associate salary plus an additional $50,000 scholarship.
