This scholarship is awarded to at least three future practitioners who will sit for the February or July Delaware Bar Exam.

The NWSBA Foundation is honored to recognize Judge Timothy C. Evans’ contribution to the legal community through The Honorable Timothy C. Evans Scholarship.

This memorial scholarship award is geared toward students pursuing a J.D. with an interest in international law or federal law. In particular, a demonstrable interest in procedure, substance, or scope of the United States Four of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is ideal.

An award will be given in the memory of Helen W. Nies, former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Special considerations include encouraging the participation of women lawyers in the legal profession, recognizing the contributions of women lawyers to society in general, highlighting academic excellence, addressing need, and advancing the interest of women law students in intellectual property.

Annually, the Asian American Law Fund of New York provides up to three law students with tuition assistance who demonstrate a commitment to the Asian American community.

An award will be given in the memory of Giles S. Rich, Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and an author of the 1952 Patent Act. Ideal candidates will show financial need and reflect academic excellence. They also should consistently demonstrate a dedication to the law, the rule of law, and our court system.

The Board Scholarship seeks to encourage law students showing financial need and demonstrating both academic excellence and outstanding leadership.

In memory of William S. Bullinger, a respected practitioner who tirelessly advanced the Association’s encouragement of professionalism, civility in practice, and dialogue between the Bench and Bar. The award is based primarily on economic need, although other criteria including academic promise and an interest in the subject matter of the Federal Circuit’s legal community are considered.

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation has partnered with the Choi Family to create the Han C. Choi Scholarship, to honor a Trailblazer, mentor and leader, who embodies grit and courage in the face of great adversity. The Scholarship seeks to benefit a student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and demonstrates an interest in AAPI civic issues.

The Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles invites applicants who intend to practice law in the Southern California area to submit a personal statement and legal essay.

The BWL Foundation is proud to sponsor the Vera Brown-Curtis Hayes Scholarship, which is awarded to second- and third-year law students who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, community service and financial need.

The Labor Law Scholarship is earmarked for a student wishing to enter the field of labor law or who has already shown academic achievement in the area of labor law.
