Interested in public service legal career

Registered at a U.S. trade school, college or university

Currently enrolled 2L or 3L at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S. as a part-time or full-time student with good academic standing

Currently serves or was honorably discharged from a branch of the U.S. military (valid DD214) OR is the child of a U.S. military veteran (valid DD214) OR is a current member of, or has been accepted and plans to enter, the U.S. JAG Corp.

Pursuing a career in the legal profession, law enforcement, or are pursuing a degree in pre-law or government.

Must be a first-generation student studying law or pre-law at an accredited school in the U.S.

Attend a Northern California Law School and intend to continue commitments to Contra Costa County after graduation.

Current membership in California Women Lawyers

Demonstrate a commitment to issues affecting women and/or children in the community

Be in the top fifty percent of their law school class currently
