These merit-based scholarships are directed toward recognizing rising, second and third year law students from diverse backgrounds who are underrepresented racial or ethnic minorities. In addition, applicants must demonstrate an interest in, be engaged in activities related to, or be pursuing a career in Intellectual Property law. Institution must have at least one IP course.

This law firm fellowship is geared toward diverse, minority, or underrepresented law students and includes both a 12-week summer associate position and an academic scholarship to be remitted directly to the student’s law school at the beginning of the school year following the summer clerkship. Legal writing sample required.

This association scholarship is awarded to diverse, high performing 2L and 3L law students with an interest in intellectual property law. Financial aid need in addition to attending a Houston law school is required. 1Ls will not be considered. A total of 9 scholarships will be awarded; 3 scholarships to each of the 3 Houston area law schools.

Law students of a historically underrepresented group with high ethics, civility and professionalism, and a commitment to pursue intellectual property law are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Created to strengthen diversity and inclusion in the field of intellectual property law, this fellowship provides first- and second-year law students with the opportunity to participate in the firm’s summer associate program and receive a scholarship towards law school tuition or other school-related expenses.

This fellowship provides substantial tuition assistance, a dedicated attorney mentor, plus a paid summer associate position where fellows experience meaningful, hands-on learning and networking opportunities.

This 1L Fellowship program is designed to recruit top-notch law students who may eventually begin full-time employment with the firm.

Scholarships are awarded to students who are members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups and who are exploring a career in IP law. Scholars engage with experts and leaders in the patent law field during the law school admissions process and throughout their law school experience.

Must be a qualified 1L student at an ABA-accredited law school and must possess a diverse background, a technical degree in science or engineering, and a commitment to pursuing a patent law career in Chicago to apply for this summer associates program.

The FCBA Foundation Law School Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to rising second-or third-year students currently enrolled in accredited U.S. law schools who have a demonstrated interest in pursing a career in TMT law.

The NYIPLEF’s Annual Diversity Scholarship was established to promote diversity in IP law. The award is intended to be used by the law student for tuition and expenses related to attending law school.

The Rachel Krevans Scholarship was established to encourage women to pursue careers in intellectual property law.

The NCITD International Trade Scholarship is for students pursuing undergraduate, graduate or professional degrees who have an interest in pursing a career in international trade, which they demonstrate through their education, work experience, volunteering, or any other extracurricular activities related to international trade.
