This scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school students who have been actively involved in their community within California and New York State.

The Law Office of Cohen & Jaffe, LLP wants to help today’s young volunteers succeed in their academic and professional pursuits by providing a scholarship.

This scholarship fund was created for the purpose of raising funds to award financial scholarships to deserving law students.

Barrios Virgüez’s Young Hispanic Leader Scholarship offers $2,500 in financial assistance to students anticipating or returning to college. This scholarship celebrates students’ successful development of leadership skills alongside their academic success. Students submitting their scholarship applications are encouraged to elaborate on the challenges that their time in a leadership position foisted upon them. Barrios Virgüez wants to uphold the efforts of a student who had their abilities, perspective, and/or perseverance challenges.

The Don H. Liu Scholars Program seeks to identify, cultivate and inspire future Asian American leaders within the legal profession in order to address the single most important reality facing Asian American professionals today – the barrier to advancement.

This scholarship was established to attract outstanding diverse law students committed to promoting diversity to the legal community at large.

A 1L law student will be selected for an internship and must demonstrate an awareness of the importance of promoting diversity as a result of their life experiences, demonstrated interests, background, personal attributes or characteristics.

The Harter Secrest & Emery LLP Diversity Scholarship awards two 1L law student with a scholarship to be applied to the student’s second year tuition and a paid 10-week summer associate position in the firm’s Rochester or Buffalo office between the student’s first and second year of law school.

Constangy’s Diversity Scholars Program recognizes law students who have demonstrated academic achievement; a commitment to diversity in their community, school or work environment; and personal achievements in overcoming challenges to reach goals.

The spouses of Congressional Black Caucus members created this scholarship to address the educational need in the congressional districts in response to federal cuts in spending for education programs and scholarships, which disproportionately affect people of color. This opportunity awards scholarships to academically talented and highly motivated African-American or Black students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees in a variety of fields.

This award is available to a second or third-year student that live in Queens County and/or attend St. John’s University Law School or CUNY Law School.

The NYIPLEF’s Annual Diversity Scholarship was established to promote diversity in IP law. The award is intended to be used by the law student for tuition and expenses related to attending law school.

Annually, the Asian American Law Fund of New York provides up to three law students with tuition assistance who demonstrate a commitment to the Asian American community.

The Judge Albert W. Thompson, Sr. Scholarship is offered for up to two students with high character, a commitment to community service, a connection to Georgia who are entering or are currently enrolled in law school. Students committed to practicing nonprofit law or another type of public service law are encouraged to apply.
