The SCWLF awards $5,000 scholarships to African-American female law students who have committed to careers as prosecutors. For these future prosecutors the Scholarship program covers the cost of the bar application and preparation up to $5,000. The Scholarship program also offers a $5,000 incentive for scholarship recipients who secure employment as prosecutors. 

This scholarship is awarded to at least three future practitioners who will sit for the February or July Delaware Bar Exam.

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a commitment to helping and working with the Asian American Pacific community.

This award is provided annually in honor of George A. Strait, an exceptional law librarian and life-long member of the American Association of Law Librarians.

This state scholarship is directed at students of Hispanic origin who will attend Florida public or eligible private institutions. Merit and demonstrated financial need will be taken into consideration.

This club's annual scholarship is geared toward high-achieving, community service-oriented law students of Greek heritage. Contains residency requirement, in addition to demonstration of merit and financial need.

To commemorate the founding of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, this scholarship was established to recognize the scholastic achievements of undergraduate and graduate Brothers. The selected candidates should demonstrate the academic aspirations exhibited by the Fraternity’s Founders. The Charles R. Drew Memorial Scholarship Commission will award (4) four Founders’ Memorial Scholarship awards annually.

The PBA Environmental & Energy Law Section Minority Scholarship Fund of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation was created to support law students enrolled in any Pennsylvania accredited law schools.

The scholarship is awarded to a female law student in Ohio whom aspires to promote diversity and inclusion efforts in their future legal practice or brings a unique perspective to the law as a result of their diverse background or experience.

The Trans/Nonbinary Law Graduates of Color Grant Fund will award three unrestricted to help offset the costs associated with the period of time between graduation and taking the Bar Exam/employment. 

The Worthy Women's Scholarship is intended for women who have decided to enroll in school to pursue their passions and open up more doors for themselves and others.

This award is available to a second or third-year student that live in Queens County and/or attend St. John’s University Law School or CUNY Law School.

This scholarship will be awarded to a qualifying senior undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a graduate degree full-time at an accredited university or professional school.

This association scholarship is open to Black students who have overcome adversity to use their outstanding academic ability and skills in public service. Financial need is not a requirement. Interview is required and two letters of recommendation.

Animal Legal Defense Fund Advancement's scholarships are available to law student members based upon demonstrated commitment to Animal Legal Defense Fund’s mission, “to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system."

The Houston Bar Association Auxiliary Charitable Fund awards scholarship(s) annually to deserving students at each of the Houston area law schools.

Applications for this scholarship are open to a New Jersey law school student from Union County, NJ.

The New Jersey State Bar Foundation awards scholarships to worthy students entering their second or third year of law school. Students enrolled at a New Jersey law school are encouraged to apply for one of the up to thirteen scholarships awarded annually.

The bar stipend is awarded to law students in their final year of study to assist with bar examination related expenses. In awarding bar stipends, the Fund will consider the applicant’s financial need, academic achievement, community service, leadership experience and any hardship experienced in pursuing an education.

This scholarship is offered in memory of the late Agnes Jones Jackson who was a long time NAACP member from the San Francisco branch.

The scholarship will be awarded to one current second, third or fourth-year law student to defray the costs associated with law school, such as tuition, fees, books, and similar school-related expenses.

Life Care Planning is a discipline that focuses on assessing a chronically or catastrophically injured person’s medical conditions and then formulating a plan of medically-related care to address those conditions throughout a person’s lifetime. This scholarship for those impacted by a Life-Altering Injury, highlights the struggles, successes, and strategies of people affected by catastrophic harm,

This scholarship encourages incoming and current college students to think critically about the dangers of drinking and driving.

The purpose of this SCWiL Scholarship is to assist a deserving law student who has demonstrated involvement in and dedication to serving the community by providing financial support to defray the cost of their legal education. This Scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of gender.

Annually, the Asian American Law Fund of New York provides up to three law students with tuition assistance who demonstrate a commitment to the Asian American community.

In memory of William S. Bullinger, a respected practitioner who tirelessly advanced the Association’s encouragement of professionalism, civility in practice, and dialogue between the Bench and Bar. The award is based primarily on economic need, although other criteria including academic promise and an interest in the subject matter of the Federal Circuit’s legal community are considered.

The purpose of this scholarship is to aid and encourage students to practice law in southwest Missouri, as well as promote collegiality within the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and to foster and increase a spirit of participation by the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association in community service.

This scholarship will assist students from Allen County, Indiana, or those who intend to work there, from underrepresented racial or ethnic groups, enter or continue law school and prepare to join the legal profession. Applicants must be planning to take the LSAT and apply to law school, preparing to enter law school, or enrolled in law school. 

This $5,000 scholarship is available for law students who are the first in their families to pursue a legal career and who have demonstrated outstanding academic success in the face of challenging cultural, social, and economic circumstances. 

The Judge Albert W. Thompson, Sr. Scholarship is offered for up to two students with high character, a commitment to community service, a connection to Georgia who are entering or are currently enrolled in law school. Students committed to practicing nonprofit law or another type of public service law are encouraged to apply. 

This Scholarship will benefit a law student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and demonstrates an interest in AAPI civic issues. Special consideration will also be given to applicants who have been adversely affected by cancer (as a survivor, or family member of a victim or survivor).

The fellowship competition is open to first-year law students who intend to carry out significant activities during the summer in the areas of civil rights and/or civil liberties. Proposed activities may include a writing or research project, work with a public interest organization in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties, work on a civil rights or civil liberties law case under the supervision of a faculty member or lawyer, or any other work in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties.

Scholarship awards will go to law student or recent graduates who have demonstrated commitment to improve the legal and social standing of the LGBTQ community, including LGBTQ individuals.

The BWL Foundation is proud to sponsor the Vera Brown-Curtis Hayes Scholarship, which is awarded to second- and third-year law students who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, community service and financial need.

The Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles invites applicants who intend to practice law in the Southern California area to submit a personal statement and legal essay.

Justice Vaino H. Spencer was a co-founder of Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc. (BWL) and first African American woman judge in California. The BWL Foundation proudly sponsors the Justice Vaino Spencer Scholarship that is awarded to second- and third year law students who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, community service and financial need.

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation has partnered with the Choi Family to create the Han C. Choi Scholarship, to honor a Trailblazer, mentor and leader, who embodies grit and courage in the face of great adversity. The Scholarship seeks to benefit a student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and demonstrates an interest in AAPI civic issues.

The scholarship is for anyone attending a New Jersey law school and achieves high academic excellence.

The Labor Law Scholarship is earmarked for a student wishing to enter the field of labor law or who has already shown academic achievement in the area of labor law.

The Scarinci Hollenbeck Scholarship is open to a student who demonstrates a commitment to the advancement of their community and fostering the ideals of inclusion and belonging.

Awarded to a New Jersey law school student who is female and who demonstrates academic excellence (grade-point average and class standing), participation in extracurricular activities, financial need and community service

This law firm scholarship is geared toward students with financial need, especially those who are coping with the financial fallout from a serious accident. 

OCWLA Foundation is pleased to provide the Bar Stipend Award to worthy law students about to take the bar exam. Offered twice a year, the award is given to the student(s) that best exemplifies the mission of OCWLA, and a commitment to scholarship, community service, advancement of women or women’s issues, financial need, and to Orange County.

OCWLA Foundation awards a Diversity Stipend to a recent law school graduate with a minority ethnic background and achievements and contributions in scholarship, community service, advancement of diversity or diversity issues. Financial need and connection to Orange County are also considered.

The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide assistance to residents and/or natives of Durham County who are attending law school, who can demonstrate a significant connection to the Durham community. Since its inception the scholarship program has enjoyed strong support from the Bar as a way of both recognizing and supporting such students.

Each year, the ISIAL Educational Fund (a 501(c)(3) corporation associated with the Society) awards a scholarship to a qualifying law student.

Sadly, those suffering from depression and mental health illnesses are often neglected or under-treated in our health system. Legislation could make health care mandatory for people who need it, profoundly helping them, as well as limit or regulate access to the firearms which are involved in the leading method of suicide.
